Happy Fall and tv shows

Fall started this Saturday and I had no idea. Happy FALL!!!! We don’t have the usual fall weather yet. We have had the worst heat wave in the history here in Ontario, Canada. I usually love warm weather but this is literally too much even for me! It was 30 degrees and with the humid-ex (heat stress index), it is close to 40 Celsius. It was a pool day for sure!

Fall is awesome. It means all the new seasons start on tv. I love tv and some of the shows are so amazing, that you cannot miss, like Lucifer, starting October 2nd!!! The show follows Lucifer, the main character, the original fallen angel, who has become dissatisfied with his life in hell. Lucifer is played by Tom Ellis, who is hot as hell lol

Actually a couple of years ago, we didn’t even have cable and we fought it as long as we could but finally got it for the Oscars a few years back. I love the Oscars red carpet but there was never a free internet channel where I could watch it. So there it is people, our reason for getting cable and the reason our butts have grown so big in the last few years 🙂  Of course it is cheaper than therapy 🙂 I find it to be relaxing at times, depending on the show of course 🙂

I have fallen in love with the NCIS and Chicago shows, This is Us, Hawaii-Five-O, and Scorpion. These are my go to shows that we have been watching for years. These are almost all on Tuesday and our new PVR machine is not recording more that 2 shows at a time. So now we are absolutely in trouble since there are like 3 shows at the same time lol

This year, for the first time ever, I started watching Dancing With The Stars, since 2 of my favourite people are participate this year – Nikki Bella and Drew Scott! I love their shows – Total Bellas and WWE Superstars and all the home renovation shows that the Property Brothers do. It really helped us with the house hunt. Very informative! I really hope they do well in the long run but at the first glance, they are not 😦

Also, I am interested in SEAL Team, mainly because of the main character is played by David Boreanaz. Failure isn’t an option for the new Navy SEALs, and that kind of pressure can take a toll on the members of the special operations forces’ most elite unit. David Boreanaz was also on a tv show called Bones. It came to an end last season and I really enjoyed Bones. We’ll see how I like this show! I am usually not a big fan of army/military shows. I guess it all depends how it is presented!

The Good Doctor is another interesting show, at least based on the commercial they run on TV and I like a good medical show 🙂  Shaun Murphy, a young autistic surgeon who has savant syndrome, relocates from a quiet country life to join the surgical unit at the prestigious San Jose St. Bonaventure Hospital. It aired last night but 10 pm shows are way too late for us old people lol

My husband really likes the MARVEL comics shows – DC´s Legends of tomorrow, The Flash, The Arrrow, and because of that I sometimes sit and watch these shows with him. Some episodes are good but The Arrow has too much fighting and killing for my taste. The other 2 shows have killing in them too but I guess it is more subtle than that.

Do you watch tv? What are you interested in this fall season?
