Started an old habit again

Habit…..noun… acquired behavior pattern regularly followed until it has become almost involuntary 🙂
My smoothie obsession switch really goes on and off all the time. I like my smoothies to be thick and filling but most of them do not fill my tummy and I always have this hunger almost right after I finish the smoothie. I always look for smoothie recipes that have that “thickness” to them (oatmeal, avocado, frozen bananas).
I found this awesome recipe a couple of weeks back and I am absolutely in love! Of course I made couple of changes to the recipe, like adding vanilla, cinnamon, ginger and peppermint!  I basically invented a new recipe myself 🙂
It is thick.  It is filling.  It tastes like soft serve ice-cream 🙂  I just sip it for hours 🙂 It can take me up to 3 hours to finish it 🙂 This is me, I like to sip them, I can’t just finish them in 5 minutes and that is also the trick that keeps me full.
There is only 1 fruit I switch around, depending what I have in the fridge, it will be either pineapple or orange! All the rest is always the same. And it has to be a frozen banana otherwise it is not tasting the same.
2 frozen bananas
3/4 – 1 cup pineapple or orange (2 oranges)
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
Ginger, a little sliver
1 tsp peanut butter
10 peppermint leaves
2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
Plus extra water to fill the smoothie cup. I use the single serve blender so this is for 1 smoothie!
This is actually filling and it tastes amazing. A little piece of heaven in the morning.
This used to be my favourite smoothie:
