Review: Oster Ball Mason Jar Personal Blender

My review but first, the features:

400 watts of peak power
Fast and simple operation – blend directly in your mason style jar and take your drink on-the-go, 11″ x 9.75″ x 7.88″
Mason style jar with drink lid, storage lid, re-usable straw and handle makes it convenient for either taking on-the-go or for easy storage
Quick and convenient one-touch blending action
Pulverize ice and frozen fruit with stainless steel blade and 400 peak watts of power

I bought it because my Magic Bullet almost caught fire and created a ton of smoke and bad burning smell. So, I needed a new quick and easy smoothie maker and I saw this little cute one BUT don’t let the cuteness fool you. This product is absolutely crap, shit, poop. Not good for anything other than it looks cute in your kitchen.

It is fine when you put soft fruits in there but as soon as it is a bit frozen – forget about it! It sounds like I am torturing it and it will die or explode in my face. So I make my smoothie in the kitchen in the morning and I hold hands in front of my face just in case it explodes and I don’t wanna go blind….

So now, after so many smoothie makers later I think it is time for me to get a proper blender that is up for the task. But there are so many out there, so many different companies. I am leaning towards the Kitchen Aid brand because I have had the Kitchen Aid stand mixer for 5 years now and it is amazing! I love it so much.

Why haven’t I gotten a proper blender already? Well, because I have always disliked the big huge blenders that take so much room out of my tiny kitchen but now when we are moving to a house I have a ton of room to love my new big blender. I can’t wait!!! I am so excited.

  1. HAHA! So honest! Such a pity it is adorable! I have had the Oster Blend-N-Go My Blend, single serve type blender for going on three years and that little dude has not failed me yet. It handles all the frozen things I throw at it with a blend-shake-blend.

  2. Thank you Grace! Your blender was one of the ones that I also saw in the store but the cuteness won and here I am 🙂 Have you tried frozen pineapple on in lol
