Chef Maiu´s Ceasar salad

I like to eat salads but I also don’t sweat about the calories that much because I really like to eat 🙂 And dinner is the best meal of the day! Do you agree with me?

I love Caesar salad and this time  I customized it a little bit. You will need – chicken, tempura flour, Romain lettuce, eggs, butter, bread and garlic.

Cut chicken into strips. Mix tempura flour with water – 1 cup of tempura flour and 3/4 cup of water (there’s a recipe written on the box). Add some spices to your chicken if you like it spicy. I only added a bit salt.  Batter the chicken and put into oil to fry for about 10 minutes.C3At the same time, wash the Romain lettuce (very thoroughly) and cut it in half. One time I found a worm in my lettuce so after that I’m extra careful 😉  Boil the eggs.

C2You don´t need to cut bread into small bite pieces like I did but I find it easier to eat that way.  Spread butter-garlic mixture to the bread and off they go to the oven for 500F for 7-8 minutes or until golden brown.

C4And voila! Something very different, not really low on calories but tasted divine.
